Today, I am just thinking of how blessed we are to have a brand new year to fill… a new chapter to write… a new challenge to tackle… a new fresh start!
Reflecting of my last year, the first thoughts that came to my mind are do we measure the quality of our life by the amount of achievements that we have got or by the amount of challenges that we have overcome? Do we track our failures as much as we celebrate our successes? Are we getting the most out of any experience, even the very stressful ones, or we just do our best to go through them?
The most important lesson that I learned in 2019 is:
Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day!
Find something positive in everyday, if you cannot find, look a little harder!
With so many changes and challenges happened last year, this lesson saved my life.
This year I am going to have detailed and SMART objectives in six areas: Spiritual, Family, Health, Career, Side Hustle/ Personal, and finally, Financial. I will do my best to review them on quarterly basis so I can keep on track.
Finger –crossed to have a very prosperous year ahead for me, my family, and my friends.
Happy New Year!
